IVEX ProFoam™ Polyethylene Foam
PE Foam Protection
SPG has extensive experience and knowledge of the foam manufacturing process. This expertise allows us to provide specialty foam solutions for a variety of applications.
Polyethylene foam performs many protective functions including cushioning, abrasion resistance, interleaving, wrapping, and surface protection. Thicker PE foams are also used for blocking and bracing during shipment. PE foam is extremely versatile and is commonly used in agriculture, automotive, building, furniture, e-commerce and many general industrial applications. PE foam product benefits include:

SPG has broad PE foam capabilities including converting foam into small or large format bags and laminating multiple substrates for enhanced durability. Available in a variety of thicknesses and as sheets and pouches, IVEX PE Foam options also include anti-static, adhesive and laminated. Additionally, SPG offers an EcoFoam product which is made with recycled polyethylene plastic.

SPG laminated foam enables fabricators to create endless, custom options for their customers across a broad range of industries. We manufacture high-quality, closed-cell polyethylene (PE) plank foams that are easy to fabricate, resilient, non-abrasive and of varied thickness, color and density to meet customers’ specifications. ProLam™ Foam benefits include:

IVEX ProAir Bubble Cushioning

SPG’s IVEX bubble cushioning solutions are a popular choice for packing, shipping and storage due to a variety of use options. IVEX bubble cushioning is available in multiple bubble heights, roll sizes and performance types. It can also be laminated to add extra strength and durability.
IVEX ProAir Bubble is an air cushioning material that is lightweight, clean and flexible. It is a cost-effective and reliable protective packaging option that minimizes damage when packing, shipping or storing goods. Product benefits include:

Singleface corrugated boards are designed to be puncture-resistant, protecting your valuable items during transit. SPG’s singleface corrugated rolls are available in a variety of custom widths and sizes that reduce the need for separate wraps, pads and sheeting. Product specifications include:

SPG offers a variety of building products for specialty construction applications. Builders, building supply retailers and even home goods retailers need thermal and acoustic insulation solutions.
Flooring Underlayment
SPG’s easy-to-install flooring underlayment increases the life span of your laminate or engineered wood flooring. It provides a vapor barrier to prevent moisture from seeping through and damaging your floors, as well as offering excellent sound reduction and insulation properties. It can also help to avoid dented areas in click-together flooring by supporting your flooring in areas of high traffic.
Sill Sealer
SPG sill sealer is a closed-cell foam product, designed to reduce air infiltration and moisture wicking between the foundation wall and the sill plate. It is made of a flexible polyethylene foam that resists moisture and deterioration over time. Applicable for both residential and commercial construction; SPG’s sill sealer can be used around door and window frames.
Bubble Reflective Insulation
SPG reflective bubble insulation is made of air bubbles encapsulated between two layers of reflective foil. This insulation reflects radiant heat and helps to reduce heating and cooling costs. It is easy and safe to install and does not require the use of protective clothing or gear during installation. Its nonporous surface makes it more resistant to the growth of fungus, mold and mildew than other types of insulation.

PE Laminated Bakeable Trays
SPG polyethylene (PE) laminated bakeable trays allow our customers to produce, transport, sell and serve edible goods, all from one container. Bakeable trays can not only replace your existing baking trays; they also eliminate the need for shipping containers. Lids are available, or the entire tray and product can be shrink-wrapped for shipping and retail presentation.
The trays come as one flat pack piece with PE lamination, which allows you to cook without the use of sprays. It is great for portioning as it can be opened for serving and then resealed for storage. SPG PE laminated bakeable trays are made from condensed paperboard material. Both the tray material and the polyethylene coating are completely recyclable, making them an eco-friendly option for food service and retail.
Microwaveable Pads
SPG custom manufactures microwaveable trays, pads and sleeves for the food production industry. Each of these products is laminated with a susceptor, which allows for in-microwave browning and crisping. This is achieved through a thin layer of aluminum on a PET film, which is laminated on thin paper. Products are crisped in the microwave in a fraction of the time it would take to bake in a traditional oven.
Bake-In Liners
SPG laminated and corrugated board liners are a labor-saving product that eliminates the need for oiling, spraying, or washing of baking trays. Corrugated bake-in liners provide structure for layer cakes, while single-face liners can add stability to heavier items such as fruit or loaf cakes. Custom colors are available for festive occasions or sports team celebrations.
